Some Messages I Sent in Our Former Group Chat (WhenIWork App)
Please make an effort to let dogs like Peanut outside to pee/poop (especially if they’ve been in their kennels for a while) BEFORE bathing them and to periodically check on them AFTER bathing. Otherwise this can happen and we have to bathe/dry them again. It was a small inconvenience since Peanut is a smaller dog, but you can imagine the struggle with a larger dog.
To Whom It May Concern,
Potentially Helpful Tip: Using the “JET” setting on the hoses to spray the brushes makes it much easier to remove the excess hair that often gets stuck between the bristles.
Hey, Nick. Are you the one who filled the blue mop bucket left in the yard? If you are, I’m curious what you put in it. Because I used it to mop the front of the store and it smells really good.
A few reminders to consider, to whomever this may apply:
Remember to scramble to the code to the lock box on the front door after placing the key inside it.
The bar on the front door must be pushed in with one of the Allen wrenches to prevent locking customers/employees outside the store (I just learned this myself today).
The walkie talkies will not fully recharge if not powered off before placing them on the charging docks.
I agree that’s it’s frustrating. Management is aware of that issue though. But it’s largely out of our jurisdiction. Everything (especially new equipment) costs money.
I suggest bringing one of the mop buckets to the front of the store and demonstrating the problem to Scott and/or Pete the next you see them here (first, of course, make sure they aren’t too busy and ask if you can have a moment of their time). Then they can likely determine the best course of action to solve it.
In the meantime, the best we can do is use the one mop bucket that moves well in areas where it’s needed most and push the others with the mops at angles that require the least amount of force to move the wheels.
This shift was created by Stephen Martinez. I apologize in advance if you’d rather I not do this. It would not allow me to clock in to work, since I was not originally scheduled to work today. So I added myself to the schedule, hoping to spare you from doing extra work while you get some much-needed sleep.
I (Stephen Martinez) created this shift so I could clock in to work today. If there’s any issue, you can call or text me whenever. I’m sorry if you didn’t want me to do this; I just thought it would be better if I do it, so you can rest on your day off and recover from everything. I also actually arrived at 8:50 AM, but I could not clock in because the tablet wasn’t charge and I didn’t have a shift scheduled for today.
To anyone who regularly uses the hoses to clean the hair from the tubs in the self-wash rooms, ensure the screws attached to the ends of the nozzles are securely fastened. Otherwise there won’t be an adequate amount of water pressure when the handle is squeezed. This could pose an issue for customers as well if they aren’t familiar with the design.
As for the garbage cans in the two playrooms, I scooped every bit of hair and poop (and a whole garbage bag) that fell in both of those bins on February 2nd. But without proper care and maintenance, it’s easy for them to get dirty again. Speaking of which, David, Taylor, and I found the bags with poop in them to be overflowing when we arrived this morning. So the bags haven’t been getting changed nearly as often as they should as of late. In regard to their condition, I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with the cans themselves (other than the lid of the one in the smaller playroom not being attached to the can and it not having wheels attached to the base, but I personally feel those are relatively minor problems to manage).
I understand and I appreciate the concern. That’s definitely something that can be done by anyone when we aren’t too busy. We have a hose and a pressure washer. We’re also supposed to have designated “deep-cleaning days,” during which tasks like that can be completed.
To those who worked this morning, does anyone know where the missing walkie talkie is? Terrence and I only have 2/3 right now.
Has anyone that worked here this morning seen Roscoe’s leash? He is one of the smaller dogs that stayed in daycare today. The color of the leash is red and it is a flexible/stretchy one. His owner wants to know what happened to it. She said she left it hanging from the handle of the “employees only” door.
After searching all the bins in the boardroom, I finally found Roscoe’s leash. Someone had mistakenly placed it in the bin assigned to Nala and Griffin.
NOTE: I just spoke on the phone with the owners of Millie and Scout, both of whom checked out yesterday. And they said they do not want to keep the beds they brought here for them to use. So we now have two more beds for dogs boarding here to use.
We are missing one walkie talkie again. Taylor says it was missing yesterday as well. If you have any info regarding its whereabouts, please share it here.
I found the missing walkie talkie. Somebody left it on the shelf containing most of the overstock products located near the front door of the store. Please be careful to remember where you leave them. Because if we don’t use our equipment responsibly, it’s more unlikely we’ll get replacements/upgrades in the future. And we currently only have three working walkie talkies.
The garbage bags in the self-wash room, the restrooms, under the counters in the front of the store, and outside the front door of the store should be regularly changed by those working closing shifts.
And if there’s dirty laundry and the washer/dryer are not already in use, a load should be put in the washer/dryer and started before leaving the store.
I emptied/changed all the bags I mentioned and started a load in the washer and dryer myself today. And I don’t mind doing it every shift. But if you are working in the back and have time to do so, that would be preferred so I don’t take longer to close the store.
Hey, Taylor and Terrence, do either of you recall bathing Penny when we worked on Saturday, March 9th? The owner’s boarding form requested a bath and the boarding/grooming schedule on the computer logged a bath for her that day. I think I may have made a mistake and forgot to charge the owners for the bath because they had a boarding package and I did not create an invoice. I just want to be certain she had one (which I think she did) before doing anything about it.
Do not allow dogs to remain outside on the patio for extended periods of time, even with supervision, until the drains are fixed!
Do not allow any dogs on the patio outside, unless they are non-social and under close supervision for a maximum of five minutes, until the drains are fixed!
Does anybody know where the yellow pair of scissors that are usually kept in this glass bowl on the front counter were last left? I haven’t seen them since I arrived today, and so far neither Nick nor Terrence have found them in the back of the building.
Also to those working up front:
We all (including me) have to remember to plug the price scanner into its charger/outlet when closing the store in the evenings (at least on occasions). It won’t work when the battery is too low. It stopped working mid-shift today.
Can you send me the text, because I’m not sure to what you’re referring. I’d like to see the context, so I can better understand the issue.
If so, next time we’re at the store at the same time, you can show me what you mean. Although I think I understand you now. But I’ve never actually assigned a package toward a pet or a customer; I haven’t yet encountered a situation in which a client was purchasing one. And I also don’t know how/if it’s possible to change the assignment of a package from a customer to a pet to fix the problem I initially mentioned.
Copies of Completed Registration Forms
Copies of Vaccination Records (for KC Documents)
I’m not expecting anyone to do so, but I just want to go on the record asking no one to touch this cable in the kennel room. I found this cord to replace the original one, which somehow got lost a while ago. Pete uses these cameras to monitor the store for security purposes.
Some generous lady randomly visited the store today to give us a blanket, bath towels, and hand towels. I added them to our collection.
Pete threw away the three radios that don’t work. And, per Pete’s instructions, I’ve placed two more spare ones that we have on the charging dock. I’ve tested both of them and they work well; just be mindful that they do not have antennas. So now we have five working radios in total.
1. First and foremost, I understand your frustration. And despite the circumstances, I sincerely apologize for eating your food without your permission. I acknowledge my fault in judgment and personally take accountability for that.
2. I feel like your reaction to my minor mistake is a bit harsh. Instead of approaching me with a hostile tone and demanding that I compensate you financially, you could've used a more respectful tone and politely asked that I fulfill your request. We are both adults capable of effectively and maturely resolving matters like this.
2. That bag costs $4 (not $5) at PopShelf. I know that and I think you would too, since we both buy it frequently. I could buy you a new bag for less than the amount for which you're asking me.
3. I didn't think you wanted it. You left it there Saturday (or earlier). And your next shift (which I verified before eating from the bag) wasn't scheduled until Tuesday (today). By that time, they would've probably tasted terrible (they were already stale when I ate them on Sunday).
4. The bag was left open without a clip to keep air from getting in the bag. It also wasn't labeled or concealed whatsoever. It was left in plain sight. And because no effort appeared to be made to mark/hide it, I didn't think you would mind if someone else ate from it.
5. The bag was, AT MOST, filled to one-third of its maximum capacity when I found it. And it was more likely about a quarter or less of the way full.
6. While I know it's no excuse and I don't intend to defend my behavior, context does matter. So I'd like to make it clear I have been very sick since Friday, and Saturday (the day I was also scheduled to work for nine consecutive hours) was the day I felt the most miserable. I was experiencing a variety of cold/flu-like symptoms, including: sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, congestion, headache, fever, chills, fatigue, body aches/pains, cough, etc. If you don't believe me, you're welcome to ask Taylor and/or Terrence about my condition that day; I spent time sitting in the chair while working as ASM (normally I stand/walk for the entirety of the shift). And since I started working at Camp Woof in November of last year, I've never once missed a scheduled shift of mine or asked someone to take my place for any reason. But that day I very much wanted to ask you (since I knew Brandi was out of town attending a retreat) to substitute for me because I felt awful. But, out of respect for you, because I didn't want to overwhelm you by asking you to work a 9-hour shift two days in a row, I refrained from reaching out to you and just toughened up to complete the shift. Bear in mind I am not sharing this information with you because I am searching for sympathy or apology. I am only doing so to provide context for the situation.
7. I know I could have sent you a text message to ask you first. But based on my previous history of experiences messaging you, I didn't expect you'd reply to me on one of your days off work.
8. With all that said, I'm still willing to discuss this with you further in person and to compensate you if you'd like. However, I am of the opinion this could've been handled in a more friendly and peaceful manner. I am not here to make enemies or engage in conflict. And I'd like you to know that it was never my intention to irritate or harm you in any way.
Message to whoever is working in the front of the store tomorrow:
I left paper copies of two customer’s deposit receipts, a customer’s registration form, and a pet’s vaccination records on the counter because I’m not sure if/where you all keep these forms like we do in Tucker. I’ve already entered all of the relevant information contained in the documents into Kennel Connection. So if you don’t keep them, feel free to discard them. I wrote a copy of this message in the paper notebook too. Additionally, there is a new dog named Izzy I’ve scheduled for a temperament test tomorrow morning. You can find the appointment in the daycare schedule in Kennel Connection.
If anyone recognizes this collar, let me know. I found it in the self-wash room this afternoon and I’m not sure to whom it belongs. I will leave it on top of the desk in the front of the store for now.
Pete wants us to ensure we are mopping/sweeping the floor in the front of the store and cleaning the windows in the playroom and the glass on the front door before closing the store.
Does anyone know why this bottle is on the front desk? Maggie and I found it here when we arrived today. I’m not sure if a customer left it or if it should be removed from inventory for us to use for grooming. If not and no one purchased it, I can place it on the shelf.
Another I noticed when I arrived today is that one of the phones is missing. Does anyone know where it is?
A lady named Marie Earley accidentally left her dog’s Galliprant medication when she came to pick up Tara from boarding today. For those working here tomorrow: I am leaving it in the mint green basket in the gray closet where we keep the rest of the medication for pets. She told me she plans to return tomorrow to retrieve it.
Does anyone know what happened to Issa Bella’s right eye? The outside of the lower portion looks pink and swollen.
Also this is Beau’s harness. He’s the big white Great Pyrenees that regularly visits for daycare. The owner’s last name is Mitchell. They forgot to take it home today and asked me to leave it here for them to grab next time. And the food is for Champ and Ranger who left from boarding yesterday; it was also left here. Their last name is Hall. I’m not sure when they will return to get it, but I wrote their names on the bag. I’m leaving them both on the table near the walkie talkies.
A man named Aaron O’Conner accidentally left this veterinary-prescribed shampoo in the self-wash room today. I called him and he said that he will probably come by tomorrow to grab it. I am leaving it here under the front desk. If you need to reach him, his phone number is (***)***-****.
Hey, everyone. I’m passing this message along from William. He told me this area in the boardroom was flooded today. So please make sure to turn the nozzle on this faucet attached to the wall completely off. And also please place the end of the hose inside this tub on the floor after spraying the playroom. That way if water leaks from the end of the hose, it will flow down the drain.
Another PSA:
After using nail grinders to groom dogs, please take the time to plug them into a charging outlet. That way they are ready to be used when it’s time to start the next nail trim.
This message is for everyone, whether you primarily work in the back or the front. If you see the end of this black plastic tube on the left side sticking out of this drain in the self-wash room, please take a minute to reposition it. It should always look like this, but it can be easily pulled out of the drain on accident. When this happens water floods the room more than it already does (because one of the tubs leaks). Unless it’s fixed, we can’t do anything about the leaking tub. But doing this will help reduce the buildup of water. I’ve told a few people that work here about this already, but I just want to make everyone aware of it. When I arrived here today it was not draining properly and there was a lot more hair/water on the floor than usual. I cleaned it, and I don’t mind cleaning it. To be clear, this is not a complaint; it’s just an announcement. Because less cleanup generally makes everyone’s job easier.
I was just about to send a message to inform everyone of this. This is great news! As Brandi said, this means we are allowed to use the outdoor space again. As you can see from this image, there is no longer a collection of water around the drains. And the residual liquid should dry overnight.
For those who aren’t aware, the plumbers who visited the store today also replaced the leaking hoses connected to the tub on the left side of the self-wash room. This means they should no longer leak and an excess amount of water should not collect in the corner of the room. If you do see any leaks, please let the manager on duty know about it. Thank you.
This is also how the tubes that drain the water from the tubs should look when they are in their proper place. As you can see from this photo, the one on the left was cut much shorter than the one on the right. This means it can become easily dislodged, which results in an unnecessary buildup of water in the room. I meant to send a picture of this yesterday but I forgot.
For those who don’t know, we are supposed to clean the bird poop outside of the front of the store on a regular basis. And since we currently aren’t able to use the hose out there, we just poured water, bleach, and disinfectant from a mop bucket and swept the poop into the drain in the parking lot. It’s been cleaned today, but we’re asked to clean it regularly because the poop accumulates fairly quickly.
Yesterday’s reports from Tucker were not sent last night. The folder was created though and the appropriate files were added to them. I sent them this morning.
Also if the printer won’t allow you to print the 4x6 cards that we tape to the plastic bins, remember you can always just fold a sheet of paper in half and write on it with permanent marker and then tape it to the bin. That’s what I’ve done in the past when it wouldn’t print and that’s what I’m doing now.
A woman named Myla Mitchell called today. Her phone number is (***)***-****. She said she will visit the store tomorrow to pick up these two 14 lb. bags of Taste of the Wild. She does not need to pay for them, because these are free bags she’s earned through Astro Loyalty. And I’ve already redeemed the rewards on her account, so you don’t have to do that. I’ve already made the invoice on KC too, and you shouldn’t need to access it. But if for some reason you do, the invoice number is 1305363.
And I’ll be at the store in Norcross all day tomorrow. So you can always call me if you have any concerns.
Hey, Will.
Jose and I had our hands full today without Makala working again. So we closed very late; I apologize. But Pete’s been saving a lot on payroll anyway, since Taylor and Makala haven’t been coming. Anyway, the app wouldn’t let Jose clock in this afternoon. But he worked from 1:00 to 7:04.
Pete just called and said we can use a bit of Odoban in the washing machine in the meantime. We’ve used bleach before for just the white towels, but he said a splash of Odoban is fine. He said that he will go to Sam’s Club tomorrow to purchase cleaning supplies, but he wants a list of items to buy. So feel free to let Will or I know what you think we need so we can add it to the list.
Gucci’s owner just called and said his dog is walking with a limp and acting lethargic, when he’s normally hyperactive. He said he will bring him to a veterinary clinic. He is the gray French Bulldog that is not neutered and was boarding in one of the smaller black kennels. Did anyone witness any sort of incident involving him? He seemed full of energy and to be moving well when I checked him out this morning.
I spoke with Champ’s owners, and they said they are returning late from Florida tonight. So they will be picking him up tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM rather than today. It appears he’s already been bathed/dried this afternoon. So if he stays clean in his kennel overnight, I see no need to bathe/dry him again tomorrow morning. That choice is ultimately for those working the morning shift to make though. I’m just making everyone aware of the situation. I changed the departure date/time on the boarding form and on Kennel Connection too.
Also Pete says we just received an order of supplies recently. So he told me he isn’t going to go back to Sam’s Club for just a few items. But, from what I can tell, we are running low on paper towels. So if you’re here the next time he makes a supply run, please remind him to buy some.
Pete bought protective gloves for us to use when we’re handling potentially aggressive/dangerous/unpredictable dogs. He asked us to keep them in the front of the store when they aren’t being used. These are what they look like.
Please let whoever is working in the front of the store know when the rescue dogs are running low on food. I just went back to check and saw that Copen and Hagen barely have any food left in the large storage container. And we’re not sure when they’re leaving. Plus five dogs from Perfect Pets Rescue just arrived today and they all need food to eat tonight. And they’ll each be here for 10 days.
Pete brought four new bottles of disinfectant cleaner for us. I think it’s probably safe to assume he wants them kept up front when they aren’t being used though.
Pete wants me to emphasize that the back doors to the outside area should be closed when the air conditioning is running. But when it’s off it’s fine to leave them open. For those who don’t know, the thermostat is located next to the main entrance to the smaller playroom.
Sonja just called and asked that we make sure all six of the dogs with Perfect Pets Rescue do NOT eat or drink anything after they are fed dinner Sunday (tomorrow) evening. She plans to arrive at the store at 7:00 AM Monday morning, July 15th, to pick them up to have surgery.
Also this is a reminder that Sonja requested we bathe Emma (one of the pets with Perfect Pets Rescue) with medicated shampoo (which she paid for) twice (7/10 & 7/14) while she’s boarding here. This is because she has a skin infection. I left notes on her kennel cards, but she was not bathed on 7/10. So Joan bathed her yesterday. I will not be working tomorrow. But for whoever bathes her tomorrow, she is a small black/white dog and I wrote her name on the bottle of shampoo; it’s in the bin in the closet up front with the rest of the medicine.
Does anyone know what happened to the metronidazole medication for Jaxon (one of the rescue dogs with Perfect Pets Rescue)? It was in a small dark blue bottle, and it was here when I was last at the store on Saturday.
By the way, all six of the rescue dogs had their surgery to be fixed today. So they all should be given pain medication twice per day (with food) for three days.
Additionally, Pecan still has doxycycline. And there is new medicine for Emma (doxycycline) and Jaxon (ponazuril, which is administered orally through a syringe).
I have made notes regarding these instructions on each of their profiles.
Yes, this is the bottle. Thank you. It’s for Jaxon. I wrote his name on it with permanent marker, but it keeps getting wiped away. Sonja said it was previously for another dog with Perfect Pets Rescue, but that we could reuse it. So she refilled the bottle with the same medication (metronidazole) when she dropped them off here and told us to give it to Jaxon. I wrote his name on the cap of the bottle now, so hopefully it doesn’t disappear. And someone removed his medication from the list on Kennel Connection, so I am adding it again. He should take it twice per day.
Please remember to place the walkie talkies back on the charging dock when you’re finished working a closing shift. If you’re opening the store, it’s fine to pass them along to those who are closing. But I found one still sitting on the wall of the playroom just now.
Nick told me he found this blanket in Louie G’s kennel this afternoon. According to our system, the dog left earlier today. I already called the owner (Terrell Patrick) to let him know. He said he will arrive at the store at approximately 9:00 AM tomorrow to retrieve it. It smells like urine, so Nick is currently washing it. After it’s finished drying, it can be placed on the wooden table behind the front counter. If a manager needs to reach him, his phone number is (***)***-****.
Also, Pete says we’ve got to do a better job of cleaning in the back of the facility after detecting a putrid odor (which I admittedly also smell) when he stepped back there. I think we should still have plenty of cleaning supplies. But if there is a product you believe we need to clean, please let the manager on duty know.
Brandi told me the morning crew cleaned back there today. We still aren’t sure of the source of the smell. The bleach Nick sprayed this evening seems to have helped though, at least for now. Speaking of cleaning, it looks like whoever cleaned the restrooms did a fantastic job. Good work!
I sure hope he didn’t. I can’t really tell from that photo. The system says he arrived today and isn’t scheduled to leave until August 5th. But, according to Kennel Connection, he’s stayed here several times in the past. I’m not sure if this is typical behavior of him. I don’t see any warnings listed on his profile. Would you like me to call the owners(s) and inform them?
An owner named Claire should arrive with her dog Zima tomorrow morning around 11:00 AM for a temperament test. I’ve already entered all of the customer/pet information in the system and added her appointment to the daycare schedule. If you want to access her registration form or vaccination document, I printed them and put them in the file cabinet with the others in Pete’s office.
Please make sure Beaureguard and his owner leave with his dog tag tomorrow morning. It’s blue and was accidentally left here previously. His food is also in the fridge and they will pay for it when they pick him up tomorrow.
Additionally, a dog named Mac will be arriving tomorrow morning at 9 AM for a temperament test. I already input all of their info in the system and made the appointment. If you need to reference their papers, I put them in the file cabinet in Pete’s office.
To whose registration form are you referring? I don’t recall ever doing that. If there were registration forms left on the desk, they were there before I arrived at the store and I didn’t know why. So I didn’t move them.
If I accept a customer’s registration form or vaccination records in person or via email, I always create their accounts on KC and sign my initials on the document (if it’s a paper copy). And then I put the form with the others on the rack or in the computer’s folder (if it’s an electronic copy).
If you’re referring to Mac’s owner, her name is spelled Emilie (not Emily) Denmark. And everything I said to her over the phone and via email was true. I made an account for her and Mac. I scheduled their temperament test. And I printed their documents. But I did all of that in Norcross (I was there on Thursday when the conversation took place). I did not realize she was a Tucker customer. I accidentally misread the location. That’s why it appeared to you I had not entered that information into the system (because I added them to KC in Norcross). I apologize. That was an honest mistake.
Hey, everyone. This is just a reminder to keep at least one of the batteries for the nail trimmer charged at all times. That way we will always be prepared for nail trims. There is no reason an empty outlet with a charging dock plugged into it shouldn’t have a spare battery connected to it. We currently have at least three batteries for just one grinder. Thank you.
Message from Pete:
For those working afternoon/evening shifts, please be sure to clock out at the time scheduled for you. If your shift is scheduled to end 30 minutes to an hour before the store closes, it is deliberate and because there are few dogs boarding overnight. Thank you.
So when I got here this morning I noticed the handle for the cold/hot water of the right tub in the self-wash room no longer turns. The last time I was here it was working.
And the nozzle attached to the hose has been leaking for over a week. I already told Scott about that though and he said it’s not a big deal.
I told Pete about the dumpster outside the Tucker store overflowing with garbage on Sunday. But I’m not sure if he’s done anything about it (or if he even can do anything about it). It doesn’t look like any sanitation workers have visited in weeks to collect the trash from there.
I’ve received word that, in some instances, dogs who have misbehaved and been placed in kennels for timeout are not being given enough water to drink. For the well-being of the dogs, let’s make an effort to be diligent in that aspect in the future. Thank you for reading and for taking care of the dogs.
Okay, I also have a question for everyone who worked here today. Did Blu get involved in any fights (of which you’re aware) today?
The only reason I’m asking is because the owner returned to the store shortly after bringing his dog home from daycare and inquired about Blu’s stay. He claimed Blu was acting odd/skittish and wanted to know if anything out of the ordinary happened with him today. I don’t know if he’s just being dramatic or if there is actually any cause for concern. I know he was left in timeout without a bowl of water earlier, but that was addressed. And I did not witness or hear about any incident this afternoon. He seemed to be getting along well with William, Jalondia, and I after he released from the kennel.
It had to be changed today because we were logged out due to exceeding the maximum permitted amount of consecutive failed login attempts (which I believe is 3). And if the password was changed yesterday, then that likely explains why. Because I was not told the password changed and I’m sure the autofill was not manually adjusted to match the new password (since I think I’m the only one who knows how to properly do that). Either way, the new password is ************. And you shouldn’t even need to ever remember that, as long as you select info-norcross@campwoof.com on the login page.
Also, more importantly, Joan told me Django bit Charlie’s leg today after he wanted to eat Charlie’s food and Charlie didn’t like that. It was bleeding a significant amount, but he was running around fine shortly after. Joan applied the liquid bandage along with some compression. Hopefully the wound will clot soon and heal quickly. As long as it does not get infected, I imagine it will. I already called one of the owners (Wendi) and she was very understanding. She just wants us to let her know if anything changes (for the worse). So naturally everyone should just monitor the area for signs of infection and his condition for any worsening symptoms. As long as he has time to rest, I think it will improve rapidly. The cut is small (MUCH smaller than when Reagan’s leg was bit).
As soon as Joan told me I called Wendi and added messages/warnings to their profiles with instructions to feed Charlie and Django separately moving forward, to prevent the reoccurrence of another similar incident. Previously there was never a situation like this here or at their home (I confirmed that with the owner). And Joan told me the only warning printed on their kennel cards is about keeping the empty plastic bags (I just checked now and that’s all I saw too). But we wrote “feed separately” on them after that.
I should have texted? How would I know there even was a new password? And why would I send a text asking for the new password, if I didn’t know about it? That doesn’t make sense. Or whoever changed the password yesterday could have told the rest of us (although I don’t personally care that no one did). That way we would know and not accidentally force another password reset. I’m not complaining; I don’t consider it a big deal at all. But placing the burden on me for not reaching out beforehand doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why would I ask about a password change, if I never knew it happened in the first place?
Also the leak in the hose attached to the tub on the right side of the self-wash room has worsened significantly since I mentioned it to Scott several weeks ago. I am just letting you know because if it is not fixed, it will continue to make a mess when customers/employees use it by spraying water out of the tub and onto the floor.
I cleaned hair from the rack, from behind/underneath/beside the rack, from the drains, from the hoses, from in/on/around the tubs, from the dehumidifier filter, from on/under the mats, from the brushes, from the shampoo storage containers, from the fan, etc. I also emptied the trash bins in both bathrooms, like you asked (I don’t know why they didn’t do that earlier). And I emptied the water from the dehumidifier, dried the floors, and the other things I normally do in there. I did not spray the mats in the self-wash room like I usually do though, because we’ve been very busy. But maybe someone else will do it. They don’t look bad though, since the leaking tub was finally fixed by those plumbers. I am still working on those other tasks Pete assigned, and I will have Danielle help me if necessary.
It appears Maddie has not eaten any of her food today. Does anyone know if she regularly hasn’t had much of an appetite since she arrived here for boarding or if this is a new situation? I want to say I remember her not eating much the last time she stayed here, but I am not sure. Either way, the schedule says she is set to leave tomorrow. Thanks.
I’ve received multiple reports about dogs being fed more than their owners requested. Please be careful to correctly measure the designated amount of food for the dogs boarding here. I understand the instruction to feed a “cup” (or cups) can be misleading, because cups exist in various sizes. But that’s why we have measuring cups to ensure accuracy. The unit “cup” in the U.S. equals approximately eight fluid ounces (and is often much smaller than the standard drinking cup found in most households). Unless otherwise specified, a “cup” written/printed on a kennel card refers to the unit of measurement (not an arbitrary object).
A woman named Diana Lewis says she will arrive at the store at 9:00 AM tomorrow, September 7th, to pay for and pick up this 24 pound bag of Natural Balance Lamb & Brown Rice Recipe. In case you need to reach her, her phone number is (***)***-****. I left a sticky note with some info attached to the bag and a note written on the notebook.
I printed and attached this sheet of paper to the tub on the right side of the self-wash room (with Pete’s approval). From what I can tell, there are multiple problems associated with it. This includes the extremely low water pressure and the dysfunction of the hot/cold handle. Hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later. I’ve made both Scott and Pete aware of the issue.
Millie had explosive diarrhea today. So let’s just make an effort to carefully observe her stool the next few days. If these is any serious cause for concern, we can call the owners to inform them. Also please be sure to not feed her more than she should be eating and to give her plenty of water to drink. We are going to forgo feeding her dinner tonight to give her stomach a rest. Thank you.
Two dogs should be arriving tomorrow morning for temperament tests: Otis and Sunny. I’ve already created their accounts and added them both to the daycare schedule. If you need to reference their documents, the ones for Sunny are in the file cabinet in the office. As for Otis, I am leaving his registration form and vaccination records on the desk. Because, for legal reasons, the owner still needs to sign and date the registration form (I already reminded her to do so when she visits tomorrow). She also forgot her copy of Otis’s vaccination records here. So I am leaving that on the desk for her to take when she gets here.
Everyone, please keep in mind Stryker has anti-diarrhea product and digestive support supplemental cans of wet food containing pumpkin to help improve their stool. I found them in the fridge and gave the instructed amount to them with their dry food. Try to keep an eye on their stool as much as you can, because I don’t think they necessarily need to be continually given those items if their stool is better. I have not seen any diarrhea from them at all this morning, which is good. And one of the cans with pumpkin has not yet been opened. They are scheduled to stay here until the 11th of October though. So it’s important we monitor their stool in the meantime.
I also put the unopened can and the bottle of anti-diarrhea in his bin (so it does not get confused with another dog’s belongings). I left the opened can in the fridge though (obviously).

This is the guy who wants to see if we can “quarantine” his dog that only has a current rabies vaccine while he has spine surgery. I told him that I did not have a definitive answer at the moment, but that you would call him on Sunday. I am also leaving a paper copy of a note about this on a sticky note on top of the clipboard on the counter.
I just spoke with a representative of Aire and Xena’s rescue group. And she told me they will both be getting picked up around 7:00-7:30 AM on Monday, 9/30 for transportation to surgery. Aire (the black and white one) will be getting neutered on Monday. So she instructed us to not feed him anything Monday morning. I left notes in the computer’s system and on the kennel cards to remind everyone of this.
William mentioned this to me previously. And it’s something I have noticed as well. Let’s please ensure we’re always providing fresh water to dogs who are being kept alone in kennels (for whatever the reason). This hyperactive dog I bathed this afternoon was so thirsty that she kept trying to drink the water IN THE TUB as I was bathing her.
No, it was Freyja. And don’t get me wrong. Even though I love her, she’s an absolute HANDFUL (to say the least). And I think she could REALLY benefit from some quality training. But, just like any other dog, she of course needs water.
The woman who has been sending emails online about the cat food came to Tucker today looking for those cans. I didn’t see any in inventory on the computer or on the shelf here. But I called Thomas in Norcross and he says they have 9 of them. They just left to drive there and buy them. If you’re ever looking for the product in inventory, the UPC for the 12.5 oz cans of PureVita Turkey Entree is 073893962014. But they want the 5.5 oz cans (which Thomas says are in Norcross). I don’t know the UPC for that one though.
A woman called earlier claiming she bought a bag of Farmina Tropical Salmon dog food today and did not realize the pebbles would be so large. The caller ID read “Holly Joette” and her phone number is (***)***-****. She says she has two Yorkshire terriers and that she bought it from Thomas. Pete told me she can NOT return it because the bag has been opened. But he says she can exchange it for another bag of equal or greater value. I believe I found the invoice for the transaction (the invoice # is 205040). I’m also including a photo of the bag so you know what it looks like. I called her and told her what Pete says and she said she will return to the store tomorrow to exchange it (she did not specify the time).
A woman named Lauren Marion should be arriving tomorrow at around 8:00 AM to bring her dog Gotti here for the first time for a temperament test. I already created their accounts and reviewed the required documents she sent. And I added them to the schedule. I also printed a copy of her registration form and Gotti’s vaccinations records and left them on the counter, in case you need to reference them.
I spent hours thoroughly cleaning the self-wash room this afternoon. This includes the ramp, the mats in the tubs, the tubs themselves, the mats on the floor, and the floor itself. I collected a LOT of hair and other smelly gunk, especially from the mats on the floor (which were absolutely filthy). I personally recommend those be cleaned AT LEAST once a month.
Yeah, William told me about that bucket. And I don’t know whose bowls those are. I don’t even let owners leave bowls here, unless they absolutely insist on doing so (because I don’t want them getting confused with ours).
Hey, Brandi and Manuel. Pete wanted me to let you guys know to not change passwords without letting him know. I sent a password reset link to Pete’s email inbox and he changed the password for the payment portal to *************. Keep in mind the password IS case sensitive. I disabled the iCloud Keychain feature on the computer we use. That way it doesn’t interfere with Microsoft Wallet’s password management, which I used to configure the new password to autofill each time the correct username is selected before logging in to the account. In other words, as long as you make sure “tucker@campwoof.com” is selected as the username before logging in to iPOSpays, then the correct password (which is currently “*************“) should automatically fill. You do NOT have to check the box that reads “remember me.” Like I said, I already saved the correct password using the Microsoft Wallet tool. Sorry for sending such a long, detailed message. I’m doing this because I don’t want to upset Pete with another password reset. I believe each account only gets a maximum of three consecutive failed login attempts before a password reset is required. If you have any questions, you can let me know. Thank you.
Hey, everyone. The dumpster is absolutely overflowing with garbage. I’m not sure if the trash collectors didn’t visit when they were supposed to again. But I’ve informed Pete of the situation.
I’m seeing unread emails from Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week from customers interested in boarding their pets with us. And I often arrive at work and see the computer is signed out of the Wix website. If you’re unsure of the Wix login information (which we use to read/reply to emails), the username is pete@campwoof.com and the password is ***********. Will also conveniently wrote the password on this blue sticky note that’s attached to this Himalayan Pet display.
Also I found a reservation in Kennel Connection for Robin Sansone’s dog, Brandy. But the dates don’t match the ones requested on the Wix form (I’m not sure if that’s a mistake or if she changed her mind). And I don’t see a record of a deposit for the stay (which is set to take place over Thanksgiving). The initials attached to the appointment read “TV.” Do you remember if the owner paid a deposit for this one? And if she didn’t, do you want me to request that she pay one? I know she a loyal and reliable customer. So I’m not sure how strictly Pete wants to enforce that policy with customers like her.
I see an invoice in the amount of $43 there. But the card holder name is blank, the description doesn’t list the owner/dog associated with the deposit, and the invoice is still pending. That’s why I asked for clarification. I couldn’t have really known that payment link was sent to her, without contacting you or the owner. The invoice won’t expire for about a week and her reservation isn’t scheduled to start for over a month. So we’ll see if she pays it. Either way, it’s fine. I just wanted to know, because I didn’t see a response to her email and wasn’t sure if her inquiry had been addressed. That’s all.
I agree as well. I also think it’s important someone be in the playroom as much as can reasonably be expected, especially when there are a lot of dogs in there. Because we want to be proactive in preventing/stopping any potential fights.
This afternoon we received a delivery of disposable nitrile gloves to be used in the workplace. Five boxes will be kept here and the other five will be transported to the store in Tucker.
If you want help handling a non-social dog or any dog that is giving you cause for concern, don’t hesitate to ask for help from one of your coworkers. We are more than happy to help. Will especially has years of experience handling questionable dogs. And we want to avoid/prevent future incidents involving dog bites however we can.
If the floor of the self-wash room is mildly damp or very wet (especially if you haven’t already dried it using towels), here’s a simple and effective method to dry it relatively quickly. Clean the hair from the filter on the back of the dehumidifier, empty the excess water from the humidifier into one of the tubs, turn on the power to the humidifier, and close the door to the room (so it can better collect moisture). Doing this will make work easier for anyone who uses the room. Thank you.
Hey, everyone. I’ve gotten a few reports about trash (other than dog poop) being discarded in the garbage bags intended for dog poop only. Let’s please be mindful to use those for their intended purpose, to reduce the risk of tearing any large bags and creating an avoidable mess. We have other garbage bins in which we can dispose miscellaneous trash. Thank you.
Also a woman named Lisa Queen (her profile on KC says that she is an “extremely rude and demanding customer”) scheduled boarding for her dog Nino from 11/27 to 12/2. I explained the policy involving surgcharges, three-night minimum stays, and one-night deposits for holiday bookings like this. She responded by saying “I’ve never heard of that until now. That’s the first time I’ve been told that.” I’m not going to outright assume she’s lying. But it says she’s been boarding since 2019, so I wouldn’t assume she’s telling the truth either. Regardless, she said she will visit the store tomorrow to pay the deposit and provide proof of current vaccinations (which I told her expired two months ago). If she doesn’t come, you’re welcome to call her. And if she refuses to cooperate with the rules, you can cancel her reservation.
I’ve just been made aware that Evie’s sister, Daisy, can (and has) climbed the fences of the kennels in the board room. We are going to move Ollie to where Daisy/Evie have been staying, and vice versa. That way, hopefully, Daisy won’t be able to climb out of the kennel (because there is a gate lying above it to prevent dogs from escaping). However, if she still escapes, she will probably have to stay in one of our smaller crates overnight (separate from Evie).
Pete wanted me to show you all this. And he wanted me to emphasize that only these five varieties should be sold as “buy one, get one free.” He said any Victor bags taken from the shelves should not be marked down whatsoever. And if we run out of bags on this display, he says we have extra ones that can take their place.
Also I just received an email that the reports were not sent (or not sent correctly) on Saturday, November 23rd. That is not a day I was working here. I will send them now myself anyway. Though I’m not usually one to complain about something like this, I do just want to express that it is a bit frustrating (only because I’ve already had my hands full every minute of my shift this afternoon).
Baths were written in permanent marker on the groom cards nailed to the board for Daisy Mae, Gatsby, and Tucker. But the owner wrote nail trims (and not baths) on the boarding form. Luckily she called around 2:00 PM to check. She told me this has happened in the past. Fortunately I was able to trim them, even with her wanting to pick up two hours early. And the customer left satisfied. But we wasted our time bathing the three of them before realizing the mistake.
A man named Steve Sankey paid for two self-washes today. But he only used one and he wants to use the other here tomorrow. So please don’t charge him again if/when he comes to the store tomorrow. If you want to view his original invoice for any reason, the invoice number is 1308473. He also has an Astro Loyalty account and his phone number is (***)***-****.
If you unplug the tablet to charge a device, please plug it back into an outlet when you’re finished. All employees use it to clock in/out of work, and it’s no good to anyone if the battery is dead.
Does anyone know how many dogs are boarding there right now? Last time I was there I recall Brixton, Bella/Brindy (the two rottweilers that aren’t spayed), and Simba being there. And I think there was one more. But I can’t remember who. Plus some new ones might have arrived.
I don’t know. I lost power an hour and a half ago and I’m concerned I won’t be able to drive safely tomorrow morning. Only time will tell what the roads look like in the morning. I will still be prepared by having my alarm set for 8:30 AM (and hopefully my power bank keeps my phone charged until then).
Ashley, he did escape overnight. Nick said he found that dog (Prophet) out of the kennel this morning when we arrived. I meant to say something about that earlier. His kennel was still clipped though. So he must have climbed the fence, even with that piece of fence lying on top of it. Where do you think he should stay tonight?
For those working tomorrow: the dog in the kitchen is Chico. He is 14 years old, mostly blind, and very tiny/fragile. Feel free to move him as you see fit. Just be very gentle with him. And don’t put him in the small yard if there are any questionable in there. The owner says he is happy to sleep in his dog tent all day.
Also William and I moved the trash (bags and boxes) sitting outside the back door to another dumpster down the road earlier this afternoon. This is what Pete has asked us to do until we get the dumpster. He says the bags of poop should be priority. But we found a bunch of ants on all the garbage today. So I’d suggest moving it daily.
Thanks.
Also keep in mind you do NOT have to click the box that says “remember me” before logging in to the account. The correct passwords are already saved in Microsoft Wallet.
As Brandi mentioned earlier, please pay close attention to where you place leashes for dogs. A customer just waited 5-10 minutes while I searched for her dog’s leash. And I ultimately found Roxie’s (daycare dog) leash in Doodle’s (boarding dog) bin. Thank you.
Please fill the paper towel dispensers in the restrooms when you notice they are empty. At the moment the paper towels are located in a brown cardboard box below the rack containing the leashes for dogs in daycare. Thanks.
Beverly, I have an update for you. Sprocket and Doozer’s owner called this morning. They’ve been coming here a long time and he assured me their vaccines are current. The documents he emailed us last night don’t have expiration dates. He told me we could call their vet (***-***-****), but their office is closed until Monday at 8:00 AM.
Jeanne called this morning and said that she’s missing financial reports from January 8th and January 10th. According to the schedule, those are both days Beverly closed the store. With that said, I can assure you I’m not sending this message to complain or to criticize. I just want this to serve as a friendly reminder to email those each evening. Another employee I worked with in Norcross last year neglected to send numerous reports, and doing so just creates extra work for a later date. Regardless, I am compiling and sending the requested reports to her now. Thank you.
Marc Wolf (Sundae’s owner) forgot to bring his card to pay for her daycare today. He said he will return this week to pay the $18 he owes. He thinks he will likely come back Thursday. So I dated his open invoice (#1309750) for 2/20/2025. And I added a warning to his account to remind whoever is working here at that time to collect the payment from him.
Also I just realized Bruno and Kiara’s owner requested a bath for both of them before being picked up tomorrow afternoon. But is there a good way we can do that? I imagine they are too large/heavy to be contained in one of our tubs.
Hey, Beverly. I know you have been filling the bottles in the self-wash room with dog shampoo/conditioner recently. But I filled them all today. That way you don’t have to do it tomorrow. Because I know the weekends, especially Sunday, can get very busy with customers using the dog wash. And they were all either empty or almost empty. I also cleaned the bird poop again today. And I will most likely do it again on Tuesday.
I have said this before, but I am saying it again because I’ve encountered the problem several times. To reiterate, PLEASE turn the handle in the tub on the left side of the self-wash room all the way to the cold/off position (to the right) when the hose is not in use. This applies whether or not you, another employee, or a customer used the hose in that tub. Because when it’s left on for hours, like I found it this morning, water leaks onto the floor and gradually creates a larger and larger puddle. Not only do I have to dry the floor, but more work gets passed down to others who have to wash/dry extra towels. As for the issue with the leak, I’ve already mentioned it to Pete/Scott on multiple occasions. I’m not sure if/when they plan to fix it.
An Amazon delivery of 30 new rolls of toilet paper arrived here today. I obviously put one roll in each restroom. As for the rest, I put them and the package in which they came on the bottom shelf of the storage closet located next to the rack with the leashes for the dogs in daycare. It’s the one that also contains garbage bags, paper towels, and glass cleaner. I’m guessing that some of the rolls of toilet paper might be transported to Norcross though.
Scott just changed the lightbulb in the restroom. I reminded him about the one in the laundry room. But he said he’s not concerned about that one at the moment.
This is Cooper. It’s his first time here (he did not have a temperament test. He’s staying until Wednesday morning. He’s only 3.5 months old and obviously nervous. So please be gentle and patient with him. Also keep in mind that the owners say he is allergic to peanut butter. I’ve noted all of this information on his kennel cards as well.
This is a picture of Chip’s medicine. He boards with Clara, but Clara does not have medicine. He’s taking this because of a gastrointestinal issue and he may still have diarrhea. The box will not fit inside the containers. But I’m still putting it in the cabinet where I also put Rebel and Rocky’s medicine.
Yes, his owner is very particular and I think Jack is about 15. She said he’s been biting his tail. If you look at, you can see it’s not in good shape. I typed, wrote, and underlined specific instructions on his two kennel cards.
In short, he should have one of those containers of food (which also contain medicine) twice per day. And she labeled each and every container with dates and times at which he should be fed. Every container is not the same and should not be treated as such. She emphasized the importance that the schedule is followed, so he gets the appropriate dosage each time.
Please make an effort to periodically check the status of this drain. After bathing a dog this afternoon, I noticed much of the room was flooded with an abnormal amount of water. I quickly realized there was an excessive amount of hair, feces, and other debris below the grate. This was preventing the water from draining properly. Once I removed all of it, the clog was instantly fixed. Furthermore, for those who don’t know, this drain is located on the floor between the two tubs and under the tall storage rack in the self-wash room.
And please check that this dehumidifier is running any time you enter the self-wash room. If it is, you’ll hear the noise it makes and feel the air blowing out from the left side where the exhaust fan is. A two-digit number will also be visible on the digital display on top of the unit. However, if it is not currently running, the display will read “P2” and a steady, red light will be seen next to the word “full.” If this is the case, it means the tank is full of water and it must be emptied before it can continue collecting moisture. There is also a red bar that can be seen through the clear plastic on the outside of the tank; the higher the bar, the fuller the tank. I only mention this because I often notice that it’s full when I first start my shift. And it’s important that it be regularly emptied to maintain a dry environment in this room, especially when customers spill a lot of water on the floor. Otherwise it takes much longer to dry and results in a bigger mess. When the dehumidifier is accumulating water, it’s equally important that the door stay shut too. This accelerates the process.
I found a yellow lead and hung it next to the other two here, to replace the one that ripped a while ago. So now we have three total again. If another one breaks, we have two extra backups remaining as well.
I was rummaging through a bunch of junk that has been sitting on the shelves of the front desk for a long time. And, in addition to the three new leads/leashes, I found some more items that may be of use to those working in the playroom/boardroom, including: safety goggles, a gardening glove, a window wiper, a spray bottle, three metal bowls, a carabiner, a plastic can cover, a bottle of scented air neutralizer, and two tethers/restraints for pet grooming. I will give them to Ali to organize as he sees fit. Although I will leave the extra dog leads and grooming tethers here, until/unless we need more. There are two of each of those in a plastic bag being kept in reserve.
Cooper lost a tooth earlier after biting a leash. And Millie peed a bit of blood this afternoon. I’ve already notified the owners of both dogs about the incidents. Please just continue to monitor them, because we should inform the owners if their conditions worsen. Millie’s owners said they intend to arrive here tomorrow morning to retrieve her. As for Cooper, maybe we should advise the owner to consider bringing a breathable muzzle with him next time he boards.
For some reason, I found your account logged out of Wix when I arrived at the store today. I am attempting to log back in to the account in order to reply to emails from customers, but a six-digit security code is required to do so. A text message with the code should have been sent to your phone number.
Does anyone recognize this collar? I just found it on the sliding tray under the counter in the front of the store.
I sold that package two days ago. But, to be fair, I often don’t know the correct prices for packages. Because the amounts are almost always incorrectly entered in Kennel Connection. For example, the current cost of the 10-full day daycare package is listed as $260 (which is the same price a customer would pay without a package). On top of that, I checked her invoices and someone else sold her a 20-full day package on April 10th (nearly a month after Pete raised the daycare/boarding rates) for $400. So considering that, I figured $220 made sense for 10 days (which is the price she was also charged two months ago in March, around the time the rates increased). If Pete wants us to charge customers the right amount, then he should set them to whatever he wants in Kennel Connection. Then we don’t have to play guessing games when customers ask about buying packages. I will speak with him about the situation the next time I see him. He or I should adjust the rates in the computer to match his preferences. For now, I’m not going to modify them. Because Pete has often seemed uncertain about the cost of packages. For instance, he just told you the cost of the aforementioned package is $240. Meanwhile, he told you the cost should be 5% off the standard price. And 5% off $260 would be $247. So he inadvertently made two contradictory statements. Also, it was Cairo’s owner (Jenae) who bought that. And she’s very pleasant and easygoing. I’m sure she won’t mind paying the $20 difference when she picks him up this afternoon. So if you want, I can ask her to do that today.
Please pay close attention when feeding the dogs. When checking out Kodak from boarding this afternoon, I found Arlo and Henry’s bag of food in his bin. Likewise, I found Kodak’s bag of food in Arlo and Henry’s bin. And I think it’s safe to assume they were all probably being fed the incorrect food. Fortunately the owner noticed the error, didn’t react negatively, and left with the right food. I understand honest mistakes happen and I’m not criticizing anyone in particular. I’m nowhere near perfect. I just want to emphasize the importance of everyone being more cautious. Because I checked in all of those dogs. And I made sure to properly label the bins, label the kennels, label the bags of food, and include specific descriptions of their belongings (including the bags of dry food) on the kennel cards. So I don’t think that should have happened. In this case, we were lucky. But if a dog has severe allergies or heavily relies on medicine, the consequences can be more dire.
Hey, Mila’s owner requested that we bathe her and brush her hair when he checked her in for boarding. But obviously, she is huge. And I’m not sure if it’s even possible to lift her in to one of the tubs (because I don’t think she can jump/climb up herself). So please call her owner tomorrow morning to confirm his ETA (he wrote 5:00 PM on the boarding form). And if we are able to bathe her at all, it may have to be done on the floor of the grooming room. Be mindful that Ashley and I are closing alone again too. So if you want to attempt to bathe her earlier, you can. But either way, it may be difficult. And I understand if we can’t do it. Thanks.
Hey, Brandi. I want to quit. So, as a professional courtesy, I’m giving notice now. I’m willing to work through the pay period that ends on Wednesday, July 2nd. But I don’t really want to work here any longer than that, unless we come to a mutual agreement for me to continue part-time with minimal hours while you search for a replacement.
Hey, Beverly. You can ignore my previous text messages. The owner found their leashes in the back seat of his car. He was convinced that we still had them. Sorry for the confusion.
What I encountered when I arrived this morning:
What I encountered when I arrived this morning:
Extra food lying around, dishes not cleaned in sink, dirty bowls and spoons left in boardroom in kennels and on top of bins and walls and shelves, bins not brought back, poop not scooped outside, both playrooms littered with fresh and dry pee and poop and hair (took one full hour to clean, after leaving it spotless the night before), “out alone” dogs not let outside to pee/poop, Jack’s groom room filled with pee and rubber on floor, Manuel’s yellow mop bucket not changed, water not left in smaller playroom, no water outside, laundry from dryer last night not folded and lint filter not cleaned after being last load I did the night prior, harnesses left dogs like Augie and Jazz (why his got ripped and I had to uncomfortably explain to owner), some structures not flipped back over in playroom, bins not organized in back, towels not gathered from self-wash
Other common noteworthy observations I've made:
Wet and dirty towels not picked up in bathing room, floor not dried in bathing room, trash not emptied when it should be, kennels and hallways in boardroom not mopped or swept and left with food and hair and pee and poop, laundry room left with lots of hair and water on floor, sinks not cleaned of food and other solid objects, not washing/drying dirty bedding and towels in crates, not cleaning trays underneath small kennels, trash left on shelf in laundry room and in WindFresh bins in boardroom and bathing room, trash and food left on shelves and bins in boardroom, beds and toys and other belongings not put down in kennels, clean/adequate amount of water not left for dogs in kennels or playrooms , hair in tub of washroom, empty kennels dirty and with bowls, papers for dogs that left not removed from bins and clipboards, dogs clearly over fed without measuring amounts, mop buckets not changed and mop heads not put on properly
