If for some reason you are interested in reading this, it is an email I sent to a supplement company outlining why I no longer wish to be affiliated with them. In a nutshell, they asked me to join their team, but there was a catch (as there always is). They wanted me to purchase a sample of their product (I don’t even take supplements, I am an all-natural bodybuilder). I thought the payment would be worth it in the long run considering the promises they made, particularly account promotion So reluctantly, I agreed. Now, after I’ve essentially received no benefits, they want more money from my family for supplements 😒 I have younger brothers, one of which is 14! So basically, I told them “Up yours! You aren’t getting any more of my money ✌🏽.” PSA to everyone trying to grow their own brand: be very careful and watch out for companies like this that prey on young, vulnerable athletes to make a quick profit. Four years ago, my junior year of high school at our regional track meet, when I was just 16, one of my old friends @emmajayne.braxton said something along the lines of “your back looks good in the singlet.” For her, it might have just been a relatively insignificant compliment.
