Alive and (Relatively) Well
I ought to be more grateful for the gifts bestowed upon me. Sure, my life has seen its fair share of hardships. But the truth is my situation could be much worse. Despite the reality and validity of my problems, this is something I should never forget.
But, by the grace of God, I am none of those things. Rather, I am fortunate enough to be alive and (relatively) well.
I could be bankrupt.
I could be disabled.
I could be diseased.
I could be homeless.
I could be illiterate.
I could be incarcerated.
I could be starving.
I could be deceased.
But, by the grace of God, I am none of those things. Rather, I am fortunate enough to be alive and (relatively) well.
