Planned Obsolescence
Planned obsolescence undoubtedly warrants complaints and criticism from the owners of affected products. Moreover, large-scale operations organized by greedy corporations and built on such nefarious activity should be strictly punished as criminal offenses. As someone who replaced the degraded battery of their iPhone 6S twice and neglected to collect their payout from Apple's class action lawsuit, I have been directly impacted by at least one infamous instance of planned obsolescence. I think it's imperative that more states in our country adopt laws that grant consumers and independent businesses the right to repair, to protect our interests and combat rampant corruption.
