Emotional Resonance

While I still enjoy viewing genres of television/movies like fantasy and science fiction, as I continue to age I obtain more and more satisfaction from watching realistic genres like crime and thrillers. I theorize it's because the characters/plots/settings/themes accompanying realistic genres resonate more deeply with me.
