Self-Righteousness
An individual with an admirable soul would not feel compelled to boast to others about their materialistic and superficial achievements. And that kind of person would not assert that social status, or lack thereof, is a valid reason to diminish the worth of another human being.
Moreover, if one makes it a top priority to proclaim their moral superiority to their peers, that person unknowingly and ironically advertises and emphasizes their own moral inferiority.
Moral high ground obtained through false pretenses is meaningless.
And sanctimonious individuals exhibit dangerous superiority complexes.
