Losing Faith (Childhood Trauma)

Speaking from personal experience with both situations, I think it's more traumatic for one's parent(s)/guardian(s) to never have faith in their child or their child's endeavors from the start than for one's parent(s)/guardian(s) to steadily lose faith in their child or their child's endeavors over time.
