A Cautionary Tale

I would describe my default manner of speech as soft-spoken, gentle, and considerate. Nevertheless, some people are so irritable and belligerent. Hence, to avoid potential outbursts, I still feel the need to constantly walk on eggshells each time I engage in conversation with those kind of people.
