Pursuit of Virtue

I wish to preface the following statement with a distinct disclaimer: I do NOT intend to harbor or exhibit even an inkling of an attitude that could be wrongfully perceived as conceited or derogatory. I am no saint; I have committed a multitude of sins, and I will likely commit hundreds more.

With that said, although my two siblings and I were all raised in the SAME household, our shared environment molded COMPLETELY different (and often opposing) beliefs, habits, personalities, etc.

I try so hard to discover the virtue (or at least the attempt to pursue it) within them. Yet, I haven't found an ounce.

Meanwhile, my principal desire is to be a lifelong disciple of all things virtuous.

Considering the circumstances, I don't see how we could be less alike.
