What You Deserve

Everyone deserves to be happy, including you of course. Having said that, I'm committed to being someone who enhances your happiness, as opposed to someone who diminishes it.

On account of that fact, I sincerely hope you will open your mind and your heart to trust me. And, as someone with profound feelings for you, I absolutely understand why that might be problematic for you. Be that as it may, I assure you I prioritize what I honestly think is best for you over my personal desires, even if doing so causes me emotional distress. Despite my wayward and wishful thinking, I make a concentrated effort to remain grounded in reality. Doing otherwise generally results in far-fetched expectations and, ultimately, overwhelming disappointment. Besides, my conscience won't allow my self-interests to take precedence over your wishes. So I would never seek to undermine your relationship for my personal gain. As long as you want to hear it, I will always tell you the whole truth. Because, as a complicated and vulnerable human being, that's what you deserve.
