Unjustified Stigma
I am a lifelong, stone-cold sober individual. Moreover, I've explicitly and permanently maintained a stance against sexual assault. I would NEVER, under any circumstance, even consider knowingly taking advantage of a physically-impaired woman in an altered mental state with lowered inhibitions. Just the thought of a manipulative and depraved person doing so disgusts me. So while I understand the rationale behind the stigma of sober men engaging in rape, as someone who refuses to ever partake in or support such activities on account of them being so morally reprehensible, unfairly being associated with that revolting stereotype makes me feel like a target of defamation.
