State of Equilibrium

I've always liked doing things the right way; that includes not leaving jobs unfinished. It's just the way I am. I adhere to high standards of cleanliness and organization at work. And my principles won't allow me to compromise those standards, even (and especially) if others are content with haphazardly performing tasks. For the sake of systematic efficiency, I can try to be quicker. But it's tough because speed and thoroughness don't exactly go hand in hand. This was something I've particularly struggled with when receiving minimal assistance from fellow workers.
