Lone Wolf

Keep in mind that most people would consider me the quintessential loner. I'm extremely cautious about who I allow/maintain in my social circle.

I don't go out of my way to have conversations with others, to develop friendships with strangers, to divulge details about my personal life, to attend social gatherings, to court/date women, etc. I keep to myself as much as I possibly can.

I'm only just beginning to break that habit, thanks to you. Thus, please be patient with me as I continue to come out of my shell.

As you know, I've endured a dreadful history of friendships/relationships. So I make a concerted effort to resist the temptation to lower my guard for anyone, even (and more so) for those of which I become very fond.

All that is to say, most people you talk with are probably not anything like me.
