Life's a Mess

I am always so meticulous in my choice of words, as well as in other aspects of my life. As a result, I tend to continually proofread and refine my written material until I feel content (because I never feel entirely pleased) with the finished product.

But life isn't perfect; in reality life is very messy. So why do I have to try to make my writing perfect anyway? I shouldn't worry about that. Perfection doesn't accurately portray our human experiences.
