Gentle Guidance

Attempting to benefit one's physical health, at the cost of one's mental health, does not produce a net positive. What good does enhancing one component of a person's life, if doing so simultaneously detracts from an equally valuable component? I'd rather exclusively and effectively address a single problem than trade one problem for another or, even worse, compound an existing problem. That's why it's crucial to manage situations like the one previously described very delicately to prevent such an occurrence.
