Many greedy corporations won't hesitate to employ a large arsenal of clever marketing tactics, in an effort to convince unsuspecting customers to pay more (money) for less (product). Consequently, I'm very grateful many retail establishments display unit prices on shelves; this aids in the inhibition of deceptive advertising strategies, which have been popularized in recent decades alongside the rise of capitalism.
