My Mysophobia

Sometimes I wonder if I suffer from a mental illness like obsessive-compulsive disorder. I wash my hands dozens of times each day (which only exacerbates my hand eczema). I also make a special effort to avoid physical contact with others, especially strangers. And I know these behaviors are generally considered abnormal.
