Disproportionate Value

It's natural to encounter people defined by excessive selfishness, manipulation, and insensitivity. I think it's best to stay away from those people. It's not worth the emotional or temporal investment to continue chasing after someone who willingly chooses not to reciprocate your personal appreciation and encouragement.
