"Gen Z"

Although 1997 is generally considered a birth year belonging to the generational group known as "Generation Z," I vehemently renounce my affiliation with "zoomers." Being a person born on the 24th of July in the year 1997, according to popular belief, I am classified as a member of Generation Z (people born between 1997 and 2012). However, I was born on the cusp of two generations (Millennials and Generation Z). Therefore, since my personal identity does not remotely coincide with the values shared by representatives of the latter generation, I proudly choose to associate with the former generation.
