Transcendent Beauty

Pressure on women these days is insane. 

False beauty impossible to attain,

Photoshop honestly the greatest scam,

Just like all the filters on Instagram.

With self-confidence at an all-time low,

And insecurities piling so high,

It’s so easy to feel hopeless, I know.

Even in the midst of sunny July.

But take my hand, and I’ll show you there’s more.

All you have to do is walk through the door. 

So just put your trust in me this one time. 

And to the heavens above, we shall climb. 

You are so beautiful, inside and out. 

I would not dare change one thing about you.

And while it’s likely my words you may doubt,

My actions never fail to follow through.
