The Same Wavelength 

Some things in life we observe are quite neat,

Like the way people march to the same beat.

Before certain individuals meet, 

Another heart they’re destined to complete. 

Don’t get me wrong; I don’t care much for fate.

And I don’t fall in love on the first date. 

But if they appear in front of me, great!

Who am I to say we should separate?

For there is one thing not up for debate. 

With you, I sense the rise of my heart rate. 

Now, I’m not claiming you are my soulmate.

Be that as it may, we sure can relate. 

Discovering so much of me in you,

I’ve never had reason to doubt your strength.

From the first moment we crossed paths, I knew.

We’ve always moved along the same wavelength.
